Weeds are like plants – except you don’t want them in your lawn
Weeds, like all plants, need sunlight, soil, nutrients, and time to grow back. Unfortunately, weeds do not know how to play fair and want the grass all to themselves and even after you have used landscape fabric, you may still have weeds. You will also see weeds on the rest of your lawn as well and while mowing can help, it will not get down to the root of the problem. This calls for you to get down on your knees and withdraw the roots of the growing weeds.
The weeding activity calls for some protective gear and these include gloves, hat, and a long arm shirt for taking shelter from the sun and a safeguard from handling any poisonous plants, which might be dwelling there. Take along a plastic bag with you to put the weeds into, if you leave them on the lawn, the seeds from them will re-infest the grass. The weeds must be pulled out right from their roots, or else, they would tend to grow back once again. If you find a tough weed, which is difficult to pull, dig the ground a bit and then try once more.

This is all right so long as you teach the children the art of removing weeds properly, otherwise the money would go to waste. If there are no children available, you should try to remove weeds once a week in order to stay ahead of the new growth because an hour here and there is better than 5 to 6 hours in one setting. The easiest way to weeding is to make the soil wet before the action and doing it early morning or late afternoon using a tiny trowel for the more tenacious weeds preferably before they become too big.
The tips given below are aimed at educating you about things NOT to do after you have assembled all the useless weeds. Do not use them as mulch as this will simply distribute seeds around, killing the purpose of removing weeds in the first place. Do not burn the weeds because they may be poisonous which could cause more harm if inhaled. Never add them to the compost file or try to consume them, as they may be detrimental to health. In case you make the mistake of gathering them in a trashcan, which is situated in the home, you run the risk of the tiny insects that stick to the weeds infesting your household. The right way to discard of them is to put them in a trashcan, which is placed outside the house. Now you can begin removing weeds comfortably since you know how to get them out by their roots, lower their proliferation and get rid of them too.
