Wasps nests can normally be dealt with from the exterior of the building by blowing a small quantity of insecticide into the entrance using a special applicator.

It is vital to get a wasps’ nest removed before mid-september when the new queens which will construct next year’s nests start to emerge from the nest. Once this starts just destoying the nest will not eradicate these queens as they are no longer using the nest. A single wasps nest can create around 2000 queens.
